Give your team access
To let moderators or staff open your server's dashboard, add their Discord role or each person under Workspace › Team and pick an access level: Viewer, Manager or Admin. Giving access needs the owner or the Change who has access permission.
Free gives access to people, up to 3 entries with the owner. Pro adds access by Discord role, up to 10 entries; Titan has no limit and adds permissions set one by one.
Give your team access by role or by person
- Open Workspace › Team and press Give access.
- Search for a Discord role or a member, or paste a Discord user ID.
- Under Access level, pick Viewer, Manager or Admin, then press Give access.
They sign in with Discord as you did. Access given to a role follows Discord: anyone who gains the role can open the dashboard, and anyone who loses it can't. Giving @everyone access asks you to type its name, since it reaches every member of the server.
To change or remove access, open the row's Actions menu and press Edit or Remove.
What Viewer, Manager and Admin can do
- Viewer
Reads analytics, Pulse, levelling, images, giveaways, the team list and the server and billing settings. Changes nothing, and doesn't see member requests or the activity log.
- Manager
Also changes server settings and what is recorded, deletes a channel's recorded history, shares saved views, imports history and levels, adds annotations, sets up levelling, images and giveaways, changes members' XP, decides member requests, and reads the activity log.
- Admin
Everything, including access, billing, the bot and deleting the server. Only the owner hands over ownership, changes the card and pays an overdue bill.
You can give only presets whose permissions you hold yourself; the others are greyed out.
Set permissions one by one
On Titan, open a row's Actions menu, press Edit, switch the preset to Custom, set each permission to Allow, Deny or neither, and press Save access. Analytics come one area at a time, so someone can read trends without Member profiles and leaderboards.
Roles are applied first, then anything set for the person, which wins over their roles. Within the roles, an allow from one role wins over a deny from another.
Hand the server to someone else
- Open Workspace › Server › Danger zone and press Hand over beside Hand over ownership.
- Enter the new owner's Discord user ID. They must have signed in to Colossus once.
- Confirm.
You keep only the access your entries give you. If the plan is billed to you, cancel it and let it end first.
See what your team changed
On Pro and Titan, Activity at the bottom of Workspace › Team lists who changed access, ownership, the plan, the card, the bot or the server, and when. It needs Manager or Admin access.
If it doesn't work
- Someone can't see a page. Their access leaves it out. The Level on each of their rows, their own and their roles', shows what applies.
- Not signed up. They haven't signed in to Colossus yet.
- Give access is greyed out. The server holds as many entries as the plan allows.
